I live in Yorkshire and Highland Liliums packaged and sent me some gorgeous plants. Brilliant service, will definitely pay them a visit if I'm in Scotland. Very friendly and efficient. Every year the Alpine sweet peas flower beautifully and I am reminded how delighted I was to received these special plants.
Beautiful plants bought here today by my wife. Brilliant selection of gloriously healthy plants available at this garden centre with very helpful & knowledgeable staff, reasonably priced & in our opinion the best centre around.....go there & get inspired!
I had a great first visit to this nursery at the weekend. A terrific choice of healthy plants and even better lots of welcome advice from Sue. Once I've planted my first batch I'll be back for more. Looking forward to multi stems & some unusual willows - lovely!
We were delighted with the support provided by Sue. This involved an initial discussion of what we wanted to achieve, preparation of a planting design and provision of the plants. The plants were clearly of the highest quality as they were thriving within weeks of planting. The overall effect has significantly enhanced our front garden.
Although the shrubs and small trees will take a bit longer to reach full size and give us a bit more privacy, in just 4 years, Sue's planting plan has already transformed a steeply sloping, dandelion infested bank into an extensive bed which gives us a wonderful sea of colour and interest all year round. The plants she suggested all cope well with the climate here, many have interesting bark or superb autumn colour so they look great over many months, and their heights and spread have all been taken into consideration so that they will eventually screen eyesores like a nearby pylon, but continue to allow us to enjoy the south facing view. The herbaceous plants are filling out fast so any weeding that needs to be done is truly a pleasure, not a chore. Thanks to Sue our problem has become our pride and joy!
Personally, I think this is the best garden centre in Scotland. Fantastic, helpful, knowledgeable staff, great well cared for plant stock. It's always a joy to visit. Extra bonus is it's a beautiful drive to the nursery too.
Wonderful nursery, healthy plants, good selectinon of outdoor plants and acid loving plants, plants and sundries not too expensive. Very helpful staff they know what will live up here and what's gonna go belly up in a Highland winterGood homegrown plants, organised by growing conditions (shady, damp, sunny, parched, etc).
